@Jeannie, weight of an item in a container is relative to what the item in the container is so it depends on what the container was designed for. Even though you bought 1lb containers whipped honey is less dense than some other items you could fill the container with. I often run into the same situation as you so I have to remember if I take two containers of the same size and fill one to the top with concrete, then fill the other one with Styrofoam and weigh both they won&#039;t weigh the same. Seems more obvious when thinking about it like this but easy to forget when thinking about food items.]]></description>
